Mc Labor Sources is seeking Apprentice Sheet Metal Mechanics for long term, full-time commercial and residential service work. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems, including ductwork, fittings and ventilation.
• Measure, cut and shape sheet metal using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other team members to ensure a timely work flow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC/R installer (Preferred)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Ability to braze and solder.
• Ability to follow controls and wiring schematics and to install.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documentation.
• Ability to perform minor field fabrication, including sheet metal.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with acceptable driving record.
• Possess required standard tool list as required and keep tools in good repair.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops
